Gita Chaudhuri Book Award

The Western Association of Women Historians (WAWH) has announced that it is accepting submissions for its Gita Chaudhuri book award. The award is for the best monograph on women in rural or environmental history. The award carries a $1000 prize. Books that were published in 2021, 2022, or 2023 are eligible for the current award cycle. Applications are now open and the deadline is February 4, 2024.
